Best Cacique Recipe Roundup for 2015

The year 2015 was quite a whirlwind for Society Culinaria. Not only did we “open our doors” in 2015, we also established some really great relationships with food bloggers and food brands we know and love. One of those great relationships is with Cacique, the #1 brand of Mexican-style cheeses, chorizos and cremas.

As we usher in 2016, we’ve been reminiscing about all of the fantastic recipes that were created on the Cacique Go Autentico blog. From creamy quiches, seared salads to homestyle enchilada casseroles, there is something for everyone. Here are some of the best of 2015:

A shopper’s dream: Northgate Market in Norwalk

A shopper's dream: Northgate Market in Norwalk

In our dream world, we only have to shop at one grocery store. No driving all over town. We can find everything we need in one place. We’ve found that place!

Northgate Gonzalez Market in Norwalk, California is not your typical Latin grocery store. Keeping the family legacy alive and thriving, the Gonzalez family developed a Mexican “mercadito” concept by offering a panaderia, carniceria, floreria, lecheria and a tortilleria to name a few, all in one grocery store. From the fresh produce to a vast grab-and-go section for the daily lunch crowd, Northgate Market caters to everyone in the family. Here are a few highlights:

Set a beautiful harvest table with Melissa’s Produce

Create a Fall Tablescape with Melissa's Produce

The holidays are upon us and we can’t wait to experience the season surrounded by our loved ones and of course, all the delicious food. Sitting down to a beautifully decorated table just elevates the experience, in our humble opinion. Creating a tablescape that is both beautiful and inviting to our guests is important to us.

We like to incorporate fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables of the season, such as mini pumpkins, squash, pomegranates, Asian pears, persimmons and a variety of gourds from Melissa’s Produce because they’re so visually appealing, delicious and they are the true essence of fall.

Celebrating Summer of the Potato Salad

Summer is rapidly coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have our fair share of yummy barbeques and outdoor fun. This summer, Society Culinaria celebrated #SummerofthePotatoSalad with Idaho Potatoes and a host of wonderful bloggers. One thing is certain: no two potato salad recipes are alike. Creamy, spicy, full of vibrant veggies and tender Idaho potatoes, there is a potato salad for everyone.

Just how many ways can you enjoy this dish? Our SoCu blogger friends showed us how. Follow the #SummerofthePotatoSalad hashtag for more potato salad recipes.
